Implements Kagi Search bangs directly in Raycast without sending traffic through a third party website π
Search Router lets you search specific websites from Raycast using shortcuts by implementing Kagi Search bangs. For example:
!g cats searches Google for "cats"!w cats searches Wikipedia for "cats"Help me fix my code !t3 uses t3.chat to ask AI to fix your codemarkdown parser @gh searches for "markdown parser" specifically within Github's domain (site:github.com)Pro Tip: β¨ For the best experience, set up Search Router as a Fallback Command in Raycast. This allows you to use bangs directly from the main Raycast search without having to first open the extension!
Type your query with an optional bang prefix/suffix:
!yt funny videos searches YouTubefunny videos uses your default search enginefunny videos @yt searches for "funny videos" only within YouTube's domainBuilt-in aliases work with both ! and @: !w searches Wikipedia, !gm searches Google Maps, !so searches Stack Overflow, and !r searches Reddit. Shortcuts are case-insensitive.
Custom engines take priority over built-in shortcuts. Overriding a primary shortcut also redirects its aliases to the custom engine; a custom engine with an alias as its trigger takes priority for that alias alone.
The query form includes a cheat sheet with everyday searches, code and forum searches, and syntax tips. Examples stay visible while you type, and engine names reflect your custom overrides.
View and manage all available search engines with filtering options. You can:
Quickly add a new custom search engine with a personalized trigger and URL.
Existing built-in triggers and aliases can be overridden, including those with non-ASCII characters. Deleting a custom default that used an alias restores the Google fallback rather than selecting the alias's built-in engine.
Example custom search engines:
!jira for your company's Jira issue tracker: https://company.atlassian.net/browse/{{{s}}}!cgitlab for a self hosted GitLab: https://gitlab.company.com/search?search={{{s}}}For the most seamless experience:
